We launched collabedit in 2008

We weren't sure if people would find it useful, and didn't even know what they would use it for. Thankfully, people did find it useful and started using it for lots of different things!

As collabedit grew in popularity, we started talking to some of our users. We found out that many of them were using it to conduct technical phone interviews. We were a little surprised by what they told us next.

They told us they would be happy to pay money, if we could just add a few features specific to phone interviews. A small fee was nothing compared to the value they would gain.

Collabedit was good, but lacks a few basic features that would make the hiring process incredibly more effective. These features would make it the ideal technical phone interview tool!

So, we took the time to listen to their suggestions and understand how they were using the tool. We developed these features and rolled them out a few months later...
